'Thankful' in the Bible
I remember this as I pour out my heart:how I walked with many,leading the festive procession to the house of God,with joyful and thankful shouts.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
As I create the praise of his lips,Peace, peace, to him who is far away [both Jew and Gentile] and to him who is near!”Says the Lord;“And I will heal him [making his lips blossom anew with thankful praise].”
Then Peter said to Jesus, "Master, we are thankful to you that we are here. If you approve, I will put up three tents here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."

And when they were preparing to depart from Him, Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, we are thankful to you that we are here. Let us put up three tents--one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." He did not know what he was saying.
Is he thankful to the bondman because he has done what was ordered? I judge not.
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
The one who is intent on the day is intent on [it] for the Lord, and the one who eats eats for the Lord, because he is thankful to God, and the one who does not eat does not eat for the Lord, and he is thankful to God.
and who risked their necks for my life. I am thankful to them, and so are all the churches among the gentiles.
If I eat with thankfulness, why should I be denounced because of what I am thankful for?
For you have been rooted in him and are being built up and strengthened in the faith, just as you were taught, while you continue to be thankful.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Devote yourselves to prayer. Be alert and thankful when you pray.
In everything be thankful, because this is God's will for you in the Messiah Jesus.
I am thankful to Him who made me strong--even Christ Jesus our Lord--because He has judged me to be faithful and has put me into His service,
I am thankful to God, whom I serve from progenitors in a pure conscience, that unceasingly I have remembrance concerning thee in my supplications night and day,
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and worship God in reverence and fear in a way that pleases him.
