For the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached beforehand the gospel to Abraham, saying: In you shall all the nations be blessed. So, then, those who are of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

for my eyes have seen thy salvation, which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; a light for a revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

Be hold, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul delights. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall declare law to the Gentiles. And again, Isaiah says: There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to rule the Gentiles, in him shall the Gentiles trust.
