Job 4:1

Eliphaz's First Response To Job

¹ And Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, ² If a word were essayed to thee, wouldest thou be grieved? But who can refrain from speaking?

And three friends of Job heard of all this evil that was come upon him. And they came each one from his place: Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite; and they made an appointment together to come to condole with him and to comfort him.

Then Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite, went and did according as Jehovah had said unto them; and Jehovah accepted Job.
